Ingredients 
US Customary – Metric

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts – halved
  • 1.5 Tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • parchment (baking) paper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 390°F/ 200°C.
  • Place a sheet of parchment (baking) paper on a baking tray.
  • Put the halved Brussels in a bowl, pour over the olive oil, season with salt and pepper, then use a spoon or your hands to toss and coat them.
  • Pour the Brussels onto the tray and spread out evenly.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, or until tender. *If they are not quite done but beginning to burn, cover with foil and continue to cook until done.
  • Serve with fish, meat, chicken or add to any dish or salad.
